3 rules for lasting change in life!
At any given time, we represent the total sum of all of the choices we make in life!
If this means that life is tracking well for you, then pat yourself on the back and keep it up. If not, then it might be time for a change. A few simple questions can help kick start this change process.
– What is one area you’re tolerating in life right now, that is keeping you from being your best?
– What actions or in-actions are creating this tolerance?
– What are a few simple steps that you can you start today to take you down the road of success?
By answering these questions it is easy to work out what is holding you back, then, by following three simple rules, you can set in play, a state that will create profound change in your life.
1) Show up each day with the intention and awareness of being the person you want to be.
2) Day by day, fine-tune what you think, what you say, and what you do, to the point that you are forming the habits of the person you want to be.
3) Stop trying to convince others of your goals, and start convincing yourself! It’s easy to fool other people in to believing your story but you can never fool yourself.
Mahatma Gandhi says, “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are all in harmony” and this is definitely the case when it comes to creating health and happiness in life.
Pretending to be the person you want to be, but tolerating behaviour (yours or others) not congruent with your goal, will have devastating consequences.
Evaluate your life up until now. Look at your decisions and your choices, then do something each day that signals to yourself, you mean business and the time for change is now!
